About Me: I believe that we all can create delicious, affordable plant based meals at home. Food should be celebrated, not thought of as complicated or unapproachable.
I am always the first to laugh at myself, especially at some "kitchen disasters." Everyone is far from perfect, and a good sense of humor when learning to cook should be your only requirement!
As for some of my favorite foods (it's all about the food, right?), I love oven roasted cauliflower, honeycrisp apples and dark chocolate. During the summer, I am *that girl* that can finish an entire watermelon in one sitting. I love love love sun ripened, practically dripping with honey, summer fruit! I am also a self-admitted red pepper flake and caramelized onion addict. As for dislikes, I am not a fan of licorice.
Boston is my home, where I live with my love, Roo, and our two cats, Evil Monkey and Stinkee.

About Me: I graduated from Appalachian State University in December 2010, then re-enrolled to ASU again Fall 2011 to work towards a second bachelors in Creative Writing. I'll graduate with that in December 2012.
I love home-cooked meals (mostly those cooked by my mom when I go home from school), the performing arts, my pets, friends, family... and red wine! ... Hey, it's good for the heart!

About Me: For years I have been a bit overweight. I nearly reached 180 lbs, but then I started to go for walks with my aunt. So sometime in June or July I lost about 30 lbs by eating a small portion(i.e. 2 slices of pizza, once in awhile it would be four though), drinking lots of water and walking. When I am around someone who irritates me very much I will go for walks.. For me walking is a stress reliever. Lol, today I asked my friend Chelsea if I really looked the way the mirror in the weight room made me look. She looked at the mirror then at me and said "No." I told one of my teachers that I really hate those mirrors. They had made me feel very uncomfortable on many occasions, but now I know that I dont really look like that.
